She received her Bachelor of Science degree in Human Development and Family Science from the University of Missouri-Columbia. She received her Master of Science degree in Human Development and Family Science with specialization in Marital and Family Therapy from Oklahoma State University. Jenna provides a welcoming and compassionate environment for the clients with whom she works. She believes that our experiences impact how we think and feel and uses this perspective to provide individualized therapy for each client. Jenna specializes in trauma therapy for adults. She has received training in several evidence-based trauma treatments and takes time to understand clients individually to determine which approach fits best for each client. She utilizes Prolonged Exposure Therapy (PE), Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR). Jenna also specializes in couples therapy. She uses Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT) with couples to improve communication skills, heal from past hurts, and develop stronger emotional connection. Jenna also works with individual clients who are struggling with different aspects of their romantic relationships. Jenna has diverse clinical experience including working in community mental health with children and families with severe emotion dysregulation. She was previously a member of a Dialectical Behavioral Therapy team, a treatment that incorporates skills targeting mindfulness, interpersonal functioning, emotion regulation, and distress tolerance. In her free time, Jenna enjoys baking, crafting, spending time outside, and exploring new activities and events with her family.
