Introduction

Hello! I'm Jenna DeVore, MSW, a dedicated Licensed Clinical Social Worker, specializing in trauma-informed therapy for individuals, couples, and families. My heartfelt mission is to help others overcome life's challenges and foster well-being. Drawing from a diverse professional background, I offer valuable insights into the intricate tapestry of human experiences and the mind-body connection. As a Queer identifying and neurodivergent person, I embrace a trauma-informed and anti-oppressive therapy framework, championing neurodiversity and supporting the LGBTQIA+ community. I’ve also found through supporting clients identifying as neurodivergent that my professional background in disordered eating, substance use, and dissociation, the mind-body connection has enabled a comprehensive approach to support the entirety of their experiences. Recognizing the interconnectedness of mental, emotional, and physical health, I acknowledge the impact of social, cultural, and environmental factors on individuals and communities. In individual therapy, I utilize evidence-based practices such as CBT, Trauma-focused Therapy, ACT, EMDR, IFS, Somatic-focused (body) integration, and Mindfulness, empowering clients to tap into their existing resources for positive change. In couples therapy, I seamlessly integrate the Gottman Method, IFS, and EFT, building stronger emotional connections and healthier relationship dynamics, and fostering personal and collective growth. Throughout my career, I've worked in diverse settings, providing therapy for anxiety, depression, trauma, loss, and substance use challenges. Committed to advocacy and social justice, I address systemic issues affecting marginalized individuals. Creating a safe and supportive space, I adopt a solution-focused perspective, guided by compassion and empathy. I hold a Master's degree in Social Work from Sacred Heart University and I am available for In-persons and Telehealth sessions in Virginia and Telehealth Florida.
