Introduction

Nice to meet you! I'm Jenipher (Jeni) Janek, a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in Central Texas and I look forward to working with you. I have been an LPC for the past 12 years as well as a school counselor leader locally and in various support roles statewide. Before being a school counselor and LPC, I was a special education teacher, designing support programs and working with students who experienced emotional and behavioral challenges. This rewarding and fulfilling work led me to becoming a professional counselor, as my desire to help others has only grown stronger throughout my career. I am passionate about helping children and adults become empowered and grow through life challenges. My therapeutic modalities include Solution-Focused and Cognitive-Behavioral Theory. I have extensive training and experience working in trauma and grief, crisis response, stress management, work-life balance, and utilize an approach of positive psychology with clients. I believe that we all face difficulties and challenges in our life's journey; but with support and care; we can all find our Purposeful Pathway.
