My approach is described as easy-going, direct and nonjudgmental. I respect my clients’ needs and embrace the opportunity to work with people of diverse backgrounds, identities, life experiences and relationships (including ENM/polyamorous). I really value being a safe person for my clients in a world that can feel unsafe, especially for the LGBTQIA2S+ community of which l'm a part of. I strive to create an environment of acceptance and empowerment, providing support as well as challenging you to encourage growth alongside self-compassion for who and where you are now. My goal is to help you find relief through expanded self-awareness, practical tools, healing of old wounds, reconnection to your voice/power, and shifting out of old or unhelpful patterns. I have professional expertise and a passion for trauma recovery, identity exploration (including gender and sexual identity), navigating systems of oppression, attachment, and relational concerns. I’ve specialized in EMDR for 11 years, and utilize polyvagal mindfulness, parts work, DBT, CBT, and ERP- with my approach being tailored to each client’s unique needs and goals.
