Introduction

I am a psychotherapist. I am also a creative (crocheter, knitter, painter, musician, etc.), a “nature junkie”, a bibliophile, a friend, a sibling, a third-culture individual, and many other things. I say all that to say this: people are complex. We have so many layers to our identities that it’s almost impossible for them not to overlap and sometimes conflict. This intersectionality highlights the importance of viewing people in their entirety. It is my goal to create a welcoming environment that fosters healthy development in my clients’ lives. As I’ve held many roles in the mental health field, I have had the privilege to support individuals with personality disorders, anxiety, depression, primary & secondary trauma, eating disorders, codependency, and a variety of other concerns. I’ve learned that healing looks different for everyone. This is why my approach to counseling is eclectic. I practice through a multicultural trauma lens that’s customized to suit the unique needs of each client. What will healing look like for you?
