Introduction

Therapy can be such a positive tool for anyone to use to address troubling thoughts, feelings and behaviors, receive empathetic feedback, and help explore alternative perspectives. These efforts can help improve feelings towards self and others, functioning at work or with our families, and finding feelings of peace in a tumultuous world. Furthermore, through a trauma-focused and decolonization lens, we will explore how systems (capitalism, racism, sexism, education, justice, etc.) has shaped and impacted our lives, and what we can do to find balance within these systems. I offer therapy from a relational perspective as opposed to a medical model one. In other words, lets look at how we relate to ourselves, relationships, culture, family, place, and the world around us to better understand ourselves and our place in it. Additionally, we can explore somatic (i.e body) ways in which we can find healing and support. If you are having problems that you would like to talk through and receive support on, whether related to a recent issue, upcoming change, or a longstanding trauma, I would encourage you to reach out via phone or email for a free 15 min consultation to see if I would be the right fit to help you address the challenge and move forward in a healthy way.
