About Me Hello! My name is Jeanny Zelaya. I am a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) and Certified Clinical Trauma Professional (CCTP) with over 15 years of experience. I specialize in helping individuals heal from childhood and complex trauma, guiding them toward resilience, self-discovery, and empowerment. In my practice, I work with both individuals and groups, creating a safe, supportive environment where clients can explore their experiences and build the skills needed to thrive. I utilize a combination of evidence-based approaches, including Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), mindfulness practices, and techniques informed by the Polyvagal Theory, to address the mind-body connection and promote deep healing. My approach is compassionate, interpersonal and collaborative. Together, we’ll explore how your past has shaped your present, identify areas for growth, and develop tools to help you feel more grounded and connected to your authentic self. Whether you’re seeking individual support or the shared connection of group therapy, I am here to help you navigate your journey. When I’m not in session, I enjoy spending time in nature, traveling and exploring new places & things. I love animals, most specifically my dog Elvis! I enjoy staying informed about the latest research in trauma therapy and am committed to ongoing learning and growth, both personally and professionally, to better serve my clients. Healing is a courageous journey, and you don’t have to take it alone. If you’re ready to take the first step, I’d be honored to walk alongside you.
