If there is anything you should know about me it is that I am an absolute advocate for those with whom I'm privileged to work. I am in awe of the human spirit and feel strongly that we all help each other at various times through life often without knowing it. The relationship we develop in counseling over time is crucial and that is why it's very important to me that we communicate openly and foster the trust that develops. The therapeutic process can be difficult but we can also have fun along the way. I have been a mental health and substance abuse counselor in Nebraska for the past 20+ years. I have worked in a variety of settings including a substance abuse treatment center, an employee assistance program in a hospital, a rural mental health center, and private practice. I have expertise in anxiety, depression, addictions, marriage and family problems, parenting and many other areas as well. I have also worked extensively with trauma, grieving, infertility, OCD, ADHD, PTSD and have worked with all ages. I have worked in a variety of settings besides my office including schools, nursing homes, homes and also provide telehealth services. I strongly believe in making every effort to work with you and feel it is vital for you to know that you will always have the choice in any recommendations. Therapy takes courage. I am humbled and honored to share in your lives and will always treat this with confidentiality and respect.
