Hello, I am Jeanette Ballesteros, LPC-S. I am the director for South Texas Counseling Agency. I have been a licensed professional counselor for 10 years. I have been in private practice since 2013 and have worked in a variety of clinical settings including the local MHMR, a psychiatric hospital, state agency and then decided to open up a private practice. I love private practice because I love serving my community on a deeper level. I fell in love with this profession by accident but truly feel like it was my calling. I think all of my life's experiences and knowledge has helped develop my style and brand of counseling. My personality is pretty relaxed, silly and down-to-earth and I feel that because of this, I am relatable and personable. A few things I am proud of is I am great listener/friend/wife/mom/daughter/sister/leader. I am the first to start a conversation, I am fiercely loyal, I will walk this path with you and I will be your biggest cheerleader!
