JD is a trauma informed counselor who believes that positive change is possible for anybody by creating a non-judgmental space to explore experiences, thoughts and emotions. He has experience working with individuals who experience anxiety, trauma, self-esteem issues, grief and loss, behavioral issues, school issues, and life transitions. JD uses a variety of theoretical approaches depending on what meets the needs of the client including CBT, Person Focused, and Solution Focused. JD earned his MBA and MSW and has over 25 years of experience. JD believes in creating a safe therapeutic environment without judgement where clients are free to explore their experiences, thoughts, and emotions to promote positive change.
