Introduction

I’m JLR Counseling LLC, a Licensed Clinical Social Worker based in New Jersey- here to guide you through life’s most complex and difficult matters. I work with adolescents and adults.  Individuals of all race, religion, gender, sexual orientation, national origin, age, ability, family status, and political beliefs are welcome.  My goal is to help you feel empowered so that you can overcome the barriers that have prevented you from reaching your full potential.   I value developing a trusting therapeutic relationship centered on compassion, empathy, acceptance, honesty, and genuineness.  It is the quality of the relationship and level of trust between the patient and therapist that is the single biggest factor in how successful the therapy will be. Patient well-being is my number one priority, and I go above and beyond to help them through all their obstacles.  My focus is to help individuals heal, energize, and become aware of their inner strengths. This is achieved by providing a neutral safe space, listening to your concerns, and customizing a treatment plan.    Learning to stop reacting to old wounds and responding from a place of self-awareness can be difficult, but I am dedicated to help you invest in your emotional health and personal growth.  All it takes is to have the motivation to want to change!  Get in touch with me today for more information.
