Introduction

Jayme Aronberg is a Licensed Social Worker (LSW) with specialized training in perinatal mental health with a focus on postpartum anxiety. Using a strengths-based cognitive-behavioral (CBT) approach, Ms. Aronberg supports clients through their reproductive journey with compassion and empathy. Her therapeutic approach focuses on empowering clients to draw from their resiliency during challenging lifecycle changes. She holds a Certificate of Completion in Perinatal Mood and Anxiety Disorders from Postpartum Support International and has served as a facilitator of a peer-led support group with Perinatal Outreach and Encouragement for Moms (POEM). Ms. Aronberg completed her Bachelor’s Degree (BA) in Philosophy at Muhlenberg College in Allentown, Pennsylvania and her Master’s Degree in Social Work (MSW) at The Ohio State University. While attending OSU, Ms. Aronberg was selected to participate in the Federal Health Resources and Services Administration’s (HRSA) Opioid Workforce Expansion Program (OWEP) where she participated in community-based experiential training focused on Opioid Use Disorders (OUD). Her research focused on the intersection of pregnancy and substance use and best practices for engaging this unique population in behavioral health services. As an ardent advocate for maternal mental health, Ms. Aronberg has participated in numerous organizational/agency actions to support maternal mental health including a congressional briefing (How the Pandemic and Formula Shortage Fed the Maternal Health Crisis), Maternal Mental Health Congressional Advocacy Day, and 2020MOM Annual Maternal Mental Health Forum. Ms. Aronberg is currently providing clinical services under the supervision of Dr. Jennifer R. Jones PsyD. Prior to joining CWW, Ms. Aronberg served various social service agencies in Washington, DC., including The Ronald McDonald House Charities and the Elizabeth Glaser Pediatric AIDS Foundation. She also produced an award-winning feature film about fraternity hazing which screened as part of anti-hazing initiatives at nearly one-hundred colleges and universities in the U.S. The film also enjoyed a theatrical release and appears on multiple streaming platforms, including Netflix, Hulu, and Amazon Prime.
