My name is Javiel Rowe. I am a Licensed Master Social Worker. I became a social worker after discovering my passion for helping those who have been disadvantaged and seeing the beauty in their triumph. I was born in San Angelo and obtained my education throughout West Texas, graduating from Angelo State University with a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and a Master of Social Work with a clinical concentration. I have been privileged to work with a variety of populations, including those in hospice care and their caregivers, clients in crisis with suicidal ideation, clients with depression, anxiety, trauma, grief, those going through significant life changes, and couples. I work with individuals and couples using a variety of therapies, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Emotion-Focused Therapy, and the Gottman Method. My primary focus is on relationships of every kind, including dating and married couples, poly relationships, and LGBTQIA+ relationships. I also work with individuals and couples working through sex and love addiction, affairs, and betrayals. I believe that every relationship is complex and personal, and the treatment used to support each relationship should be just as unique.
