I specialize in helping couples emotionally reconnect and restore trust. I also specialize in helping individuals understand the meaning of their anxiety, anger, grief, and depression, while alleviating the intensity of their symptoms. I became a therapist because of my experience in therapy. I understand firsthand the vulnerability, courage, and even desperation it can take to begin therapy. My experience as a client was healing because my therapist didn't see me as a collection of symptoms to “fix” but as a person in pain, who, despite my sincere effort, was coping unhealthily. My therapist showed empathy, wisdom, and insight, and did not judge me, no matter what I brought to our sessions. Jason aims to do the same with my clients. I believe that when we struggle, we’re not doing life wrong. We’re simply being human; we’re merely living a human life. The point isn’t to “defeat” our pain but to listen to the story it tells, the truth it speaks. From that place–the truth of our story—we can reconnect to ourselves, our lives, and the hope of healing.
