Hello! I am Jasmine (Young) Mullins and I am happy you are taking the brave step to explore partnering with a therapist. The power of therapy and holistic healing has played such a powerful role in my own life and my hope is that you will have this experience too. Having spent the past 15 years committed to mental health advocacy and services, in my role as a therapist I am dedicated to supporting others on a journey to feeling empowered in navigating the difficult times in life. Working from a strength-based perspective whether you’re navigating a major life transition, facing trauma, or seeking to expand your potential, I meet each and every client where they are at. My commitment as a therapist is to cultivate a safe space where you can be your most authentic self, you can take chances, overcome obstacles, and increase your sense of agency. I will be by your side for every step and misstep, supporting you as you work towards your goals. I will support you in gaining tools and skills that will help you face the current obstacles in your life, and feel prepared for those to come. My journey into being a therapist may not have been traditional, although now it serves me to be able to work dynamically and with a range of clientele. For well over the past decade I served in large health care organization settings at a top level. Having successful navigated the corporate executive environment over the last 15 years I am uniquely positioned to support you in living your most empowered life and gaining clarity on your path forward. Having completed my Master in Social Work and Business at the University of Southern California (USC), I felt ready to pursue the clinical side of my work. Working both within individual and group therapy settings my focus has been on anxiety, leadership empowerment, imposter syndrome, supporting individuals through life transitions and deep work with the geriatric population. It was through my work with Veterans and their spouses who suffer from PTSD that I became exposed to the various types of trauma that impact both individuals and relationships. It was pivotal in informing my work as a trauma therapist. As a therapist (and person) who is unafraid to lean into the difficult, I meet many of my clients in the mud, whether it is in leadership empowerment or struggling with anxiety, and we go from there. I am an Associate Clinical Social worker currently under the supervision of Dr. Piper Grant. I graduated magna cum laude with my master degree in Social Work and Business from USC. My family and I enjoy traveling and finding the best new eats during our travel adventures. If you are interested in working together or have any questions, I offer a free 30 minute consultation to assess how I can best support you. Please directly book via calendar link or call 1.619.356.1964. I look forward to seeing if we are the right alignment to begin your therapeutic healing journey. I am proud of you! Jasmine Young is a Registered Associate Clinical Social Worker License No. ACSW 102646 Clinical Supervisor Dr. Piper Grant PsyD. (PSY28164)
