Introduction

My purpose for counseling is to be an active listener who provides cognitive tools for clients to become self-sufficient in reducing symptoms and solving problems. I believe counseling should be an unbiased platform where clients can freely express themselves without being judged or persuaded on personal decisions. I feel the goal of therapy is for clients to come to their own realization of personal needs with the guidance and support of a professional counselor.
