Jarom was born and raised in Ventura, California. Jarom has been happily married for over 20 years and a father of four children. He completed his undergrad from the University of Utah in Sociology. While working on is undergrad, Jarom gained a love for working with people having volunteered for a rape crisis team and crisis line in Utah County. Due to this experience it encouraged him to further his academic career at the University of Phoenix in Mental Health Counseling and later obtain his license as a Clinical Mental Health Counselor. Jarom has experience in suicidal ideation and attempts, substance dependency, trauma informed care, couples counseling, family counseling, adolescents, children, adults, depression, and anxiety. Jarom’s philosophy within treatment stems from one of his favorite quotes by Nelson Mandela, “May your choices reflect your hopes, not your fears.”
