At Birch Grove Psychotherapy, I am committed to creating a safe place for Black, Indigenous, Latinx, Asian, LGBTQIA2+, and working-class folks to get the genuine support that they need. I place a high value on community, environment, culture, authenticity, history, mutual aid, sovereignty, and identity at both the personal and societal level and attempt to prioritize these themes throughout my work with clients. I also recognize the ways in which oppressive forces and life stressors create social and psychological suffering. Thankfully, I have received extensive training in a variety of psychotherapeutic modalities through my graduate education and postgraduate clinical social work residency at the University of Michigan and clinical fellowship at the University of Chicago that allow me to respond effectively to each client's unique mental health needs.
