Introduction

My name is January Hartze, and I am a Licensed Professional Counselor with the Arizona Board of Behavioral Health Examiners. I graduated from Arizona State University with a Bachelors of Science in Psychology, and from Ottawa University Phoenix with my Masters of Arts in Professional Counseling. I am Board Certified with the National Board for Certified Counselors (NBCC), am a member of EMDRIA, and the American Counseling Association (ACA). My approach to counseling is compassionate and supportive, and through the therapeutic process we are able to identify and utilize your strengths to gain new skills in a safe and encouraging environment. I use Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and modified Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT) among many other therapy modalities to address issues and difficulties that prevent a person from reaching their potential. I believe therapy and helping you to heal is sacred work, and it would be my privilege and honor to embark on this journey together!
