I have clinical experience working with children, adolescents, young adults, and families. My clients may be experiencing anxiety, depression, OCD, phobias, low self-esteem, ADHD, trauma, autism, or self-harm. Other areas of interest include life transitions, youth exploring topics related to gender and sexuality, and relational or behavioral challenges. I feel that building a strong therapeutic relationship is essential to making progress toward goals. You will notice that I use play, humor, and warmth to make the therapeutic process enjoyable, while also working toward your goals. A typical session with me may include games, mindfulness exercises, art, or even discussions about a show you enjoy interspersed between therapeutic interventions. I view my clients as the experts in their life and am grateful for the opportunity to join them as they work toward goals of their choosing. I believe anyone can benefit from therapy and it can be a beneficial piece of a self-care routine. When I’m not at work, you can find me baking, listening to music, painting, or riding my bike on the lakefront path.
