With over 30+ years of experience as a therapist, I have worked with a diverse range of individuals, couples, and families in a variety of settings. I have a B.A. from Boston University and MSW degree from Simmons University. Starting with a trauma-informed lens, I have expertise treating clients with issues related to depression, loss and grief, anxiety, complex trauma, LGBTQ issues, OCD, eating issues, ADHD, parenting and relationship challenges, adolescent development and life transitions. I recognize that therapy can seem daunting but is often a path to the change you are seeking. Recognizing that each individual brings a unique set of experiences and perspectives allows me to adapt my approach to meet your needs. I utilize aspects of evidence-based approaches including CBT, DBT, Mindfulness, Solution-Focused, Gottman method, and others. I am a Certified Loss and Grief specialist, and I am Yoga teacher trained. It takes courage to ask for your help and your goals are critically important to me. Establishing trust within a safe, non-judgmental atmosphere is the foundation upon which I work to help you find relief, new skills, more resilience, acceptance, personal growth or any other aspect of change that is important to you.
