I am full and not taking on new clients at this time. Feel free to check back in 2025. There are so many life changes, emotions, and challenges that come with a diagnosis. And given that it often takes 2 years to get a diagnosis, you've likely been struggling with this for awhile. That's true if it's your diagnosis or the diagnosis of someone you love. I specialize in working with adults with medical challenges/chronic illness (cancer, autoimmune disease), caregivers/parents (for children, spouses, elderly parents), older adults, and people with cognitive challenges (Alzheimer's Disease, dementia). I’ve worked with people who are dying as well as their grieving family and friends. I also have experience supporting and educating parents on parenting and special needs as well as adults with ADHD. Client often come to me because they don't have anyone they can talk to, or they don't want to burden their family. Most of my clients struggle with depression and anxiety. I help clients develop coping skills and self care to support them through times of stress. They learn about their mental health, build compassion for themselves and others, and become more flexible and adaptable. They gain confidence in themselves while decreasing uncomfortable feelings such as anxiety and depression. The most important factor for successful therapy is developing a supportive relationship between client and therapist. This relationship we’ll form is the foundation upon which positive changes occur. I think you’ll find my approach to be caring, genuine, and focused on your needs and goals. I provide in-person sessions on Thursdays in Austin, TX. I provide online therapy Mon-Fri for clients in California, Texas, & Mississippi using a platform similar to Zoom. In California I am in-network with United Healthcare and Humana. I cannot take Medicare in CA. In Texas I am in-network with United Healthcare, Humana, and Medicare. In Mississippi I am in-network with United Healthcare, Humana, and Medicare. If you'd like to set up a free 15 minute consultation, please include in the appointment request a message with the following information. This will help speed up the process to determine if we're a good fit: 1- A brief description of what's bringing you to therapy. 2- Where you live (city and state) so I can make sure I'm able to provide therapy for you. 3- If you'd like to use insurance, what provider you have. I’d love to speak with you about how I can help and support you.
