If you're experiencing a big life shift- into parenthood, into a more authentic identity, managing a loss or new chapter- I would love for you to experience the expansive possibilities that embodied expressive arts therapy with me can offer. With a body-centered, creative-forward approach, we'll tend to what you need, right now, instead of just talking about the past or future. This work can be transformative and powerful, and I hold sessions with great care for and trust in each of my unique clients. Bring your tired heart and burnt out body and allow yourself to tend, slow, and restore. My training is in somatics and expressive arts approaches, which seamlessly meld to allow for more authenticity and genuine exploration. Sessions can involve narrative play, drawing, painting, voicing, movement, collaging, as well as embodiment guidance in mindful states to learn more about your emotional felt experiences. Previous to studying counseling, my background was in child care, art education, and primatology. I'm a queer parent, artist, mover, maker, and enjoyer of hearty laughter. Join me in creating more space for your real, emerging self.
