My mission as a therapist is to help clients feel comfortable and secure through counseling. I believe every person was made to experience life to the full and to see their own beauty and strength. My approach to therapy is holistic in nature and helps clients feel more integrated in their bodies and minds. My goal for clients is to help them navigate through difficult situations and emotions feeling more empowered when they leave the counseling session. I believe that healing is possible and I would love to help you find your inner resources and strengths and live more fully into your authentic and true self. A little about me: I have been in private practice for several years working with teens and adults. Over the years, I have worked in a variety of settings doing trauma therapy, addiction work, grief and loss counseling and working with spirituality issues. Before working in Castle Rock, I worked in Denver helping clients work through trauma, addictions, eating disorders, pregnancy/postpartum complications, anxiety and depression. I use several therapy modalities including EMDR, Internal Family Systems, CBT, NET, Splankna and some somatic experiencing work. I am originally from Texas and received my undergraduate degree in Speech Communications from Baylor University. I received my Masters Degree in Community Counseling from Denver Seminary and my Nursing Bachelors from University of Colorado. When I’m not counseling, I love being in the mountains skiing and hiking, enjoying a good movie or traveling. I really love living in Castle Rock and feel fortunate to be part of such a great community!
