Life is hard and messy, especially when we interact with other people. Our particular choices and struggles affect not only us individually but also our relationships with others. I believe that childhood experiences largely influence who we are today. From that perspective, especially if our childhood was traumatic, there may be parts of us “frozen in time” that need help understanding that the survival tools we used as children may not be as useful today. I will provide new and more effective tools to help those parts be successful today. This will help improve lives and relationships with family, spouses/partners, friends, classmates, coworkers, and church members, to name a few. My work is primarily influenced by Family Systems Theory, Internal Family Systems Theory, Cognitive Behavioral Theory, and Solution Focused Theory. I will walk with you through the darkest nights to meet the dawn.
