Introduction

I earned my Bachelor of Arts degree in Interpersonal, Public and Cultural Communications followed by my Master of Arts degree in Counseling from the University of South Florida. I have worked as a School Counselor in Hillsborough County for over 10 years providing mental health services to students. With over a decade of mental health experience, I am privileged to extend my services into the community. My areas of expertise include individuals struggling with anxiety, life transitions, emotional dysregulation, grief, emotional intelligence, teaching social skills, parenting support, establishing coping skills, and creating confidence and motivation. I utilize a multitude of therapeutic modalities and techniques to assist clients in processing challenges in life as well as create a path to healing and authenticity. The goal is to teach clients skills that they can utilize to improve the quality of their life. There is no "one size fits all" strategy of counseling, so I get to know my client and assess what strategy fits them and their situation.
