Introduction
Dr. Jamie Janssen is a Licensed Clinical Psychologist. Dr. Janssen obtained a Masters in Social Work from Loyola University and a Doctorate in Psychology from the Illinois School of Professional Psychology. She worked as a School Social Worker for 10 years and has been in private practice for 10 + years and as an Executive Director for an adoption agency. In addition to currently working in the private practice setting, she has worked an Equine Assisted Psychologist for the last 10 years. Dr. Janssen provides Individual, Family and Couples Therapy for children, adolescents, adults and families. As a trauma informed clinicians she has extensive experience in working with Veterans and First Responders. She works with high-conflict divorce situations as a Parenting Coordinator. Her areas of expertise include Mood and Emotional Dysregulation, Anxiety, Trauma, PTSD, Eating Disorders, Self-Injury, Chronic Pain, Domestic Violence, Postpartum Depression, Infertility Issues, Post Adoption, Grief/Loss, ADHD, Special Needs/Autism, and Behavioral Modification.
