Introduction

I am a private practice marriage and family therapist exclusively serving telehealth clients in and around Woodland Park, Colorado, as well as online in the state of Colorado. I have been working in the mental health community since 1998 and in private practice since 2004. I am a nature lover and truly enjoy living in the beautiful Colorado mountains. As your therapist, it is my priority to create a therapeutic atmosphere that promotes growth and positive change, for you. I look forward to working with you to address your challenges and realize your goals. Therapy is a process that can move you toward being the healthiest version of yourself and living the life you desire. We all face difficult life challenges at some point, and receiving compassion and support can make all the difference. I offer a hopeful, warm and encouraging, down-to-earth approach to therapy. I will meet you where you are in your life and work with you in a nonjudgmental way to create a trusting relationship. Therapeutic interventions are rooted in respect, acceptance and validation to facilitate successful navigation of challenging life circumstances. In addition to traditional talk therapy, I also utilize the following models: Mindfulness/ Self Compassion Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (CBT) Eye Movement Desensitization Reprocessing (EMDR) Internal Family Systems (IFS) Comprehensive Resource Model You can learn more at: Jamieandersen.com
