My approach to therapy is grounded in Attachment Theory, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, and mindfulness practices. I want to create a space where you feel heard and understood, and where we can work together to challenge the thoughts that may be holding you back. The goal is to help you build lasting skills for self-acceptance, resilience, and healthier relationships. Whether you're dealing with anxiety, depression, or navigating a big life change, we’ll explore how your past experiences, thoughts, and emotions are all connected, giving you a stronger foundation for a more fulfilling life. I have a Master of Arts in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Colorado Christian University, and a Bachelor of Science in Psychology from the University of Phoenix. My journey in this field also includes ten years of service in the Army, which gave me the chance to work with people from all backgrounds. This experience taught me a lot about resilience, adaptability, and the importance of trust, all of which shape the way I approach counseling today. In my roles as a counseling intern and Case Manager II, I've had the privilege of working with teens, adults, and couples facing a wide variety of challenges. I’ve also helped clients connect with community resources, ensuring they have the support they need beyond our sessions. My work has reinforced my belief in a collaborative, holistic approach to healing and growth. I’m comfortable working with people from all walks of life—whether it’s teens, adults, couples, or military personnel—and I always tailor my approach to meet each person’s unique needs and goals.
