I AM JAMES BERNARD KYNES, SR., M.DIV., an African American ACPE Psychotherapist and a state licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) in private practice. I am a Clinical Member and an Approved Supervisor with the American Association for Marriage and Family Therapy, and I have been in practice since 1992. WHAT I OFFER IS MYSELF, by creating a safe environment that invites the seeker of care and service, a place to gain a deeper understanding of and a sense of relief from his or her emotional, social, spiritual, or relationship distress. I offer services for individuals, couples, families, groups, and workplace organizations, in hope that a process for healing and growth with a greater sense of clarity can be experienced. I provide my services remotely, when necessary, via Zoom and/or FaceTime as well as in-person sessions (which is my preference). I provide these services regardless of one’s ethnicity, religion, gender, race, or sexual orientation.
