Introduction

My name is Jaime, and I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor. I specialize in working with individuals experiencing anxiety, depression, recovering from trauma, or facing a life transition impacting their lives. I offer a warm, supportive, non-judgemental space where we can work together to help identify factors that are contributing to why you are feeling stuck. My approach to therapy is trauma and polyvagal informed utilizing interventions from emotion-focused therapy, cognitive behavioral therapy, acceptance and commitment therapy, somatic therapy, and mindfulness. I also have experience with ERP. We will work together to come up with an individualized plan that will utilize your strengths and work for you. My goal is to help you to have more compassion for yourself and to see that whatever you are struggling with makes sense based on your unique experiences and that every unhelpful habit or coping mechanism developed for a reason. I believe that a better understanding of the mind-body connection helps us to heal. I want to help you gain the tools you need in order to move forward as well as to maintain the progress you have made after therapy ends. I am honored to be a part of the process as you start your healing journey.
