Introduction

Hi, I'm Jaime! I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor specializing in anxiety, depression, trauma, ADHD, and autism for teens and adults. My approach is trauma- and polyvagal-informed, utilizing interventions from evidence-based models. I also work from a neurodiversity and LGBTQIA+ affirming lens. In our sessions, I create a warm, supportive, and non-judgmental environment to help you identify factors that are contributing to why you are feeling stuck. My integrative therapeutic approach addresses the whole person, incorporating modalities such as emotion-focused therapy, cognitive behavioral therapy (including ACT and DBT), and somatic therapy. Together, we will develop an individualized plan that will utilize your strengths and work for you. My goal is to help you to have more compassion for yourself and to see that whatever you are struggling with makes sense based on your unique experiences and that every unhelpful habit or coping mechanism developed for a reason. I believe that a better understanding of the mind-body connection helps us to heal. I want to help you gain the tools you need in order to move forward as well as to maintain the progress you have made after therapy ends. I am honored to be a part of the process as you start your healing journey.
