My therapeutic style is an integrated approach. I focus on building the therapeutic alliance and relationship by first practicing Person Centered Therapy which will ultimately evolve into practicing a variety of modalities that best resonate with you and what will best help you accomplish your therapeutic goals. Other modalities that might be a part of the therapy plan with me include, but are not limited to,: Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Internal Family Systems (IFS), Narrative Therapy (NT), Motivational Therapy, Mindfulness Therapy, Creative Arts Therapy: Art, Nature, Play, Somatic Therapy, Gestalt & more. While I have a very broad experience with a variety of different client demographics, therapeutic diagnosis, and ages I specialize in anxiety, depression, as well as major life transitions such as: divorce/dissolution of partnership, motherhood, career changes, health diagnosis, and big moves such as starting college or moving to a new city/state. At the heart of my practice, no matter the approach, modality, or client, a strong, and trustworthy relationship where my clients feel safe to be vulnerable and their true authentic selves is the key component in my practice. My hope is to cultivate a space in which you feel empowered to explore new ideas and perspectives to achieve your therapeutic goals.
