My name is Jacqueline Ruseni and I am a Licensed Mental Health Clinician (LMHC) and the Founder/President of Pure Wellness. I provide in-person and virtual, individual and group therapy, to children and adolescents. Utilizing a person-centered approach allows me to incorporate my training and experience in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Child-Centered Play Therapy (CCPT) and Expressive Arts Therapy (EXA). I believe strongly in the power of the therapeutic relationship and it's ability to assist children in their development. Prioritizing the holistic health of each child and their family is at the core of my therapeutic philosophy. I received my Master's Degree in Clinical Psychology from Bridgewater State University. During graduate school, I was an intern at a therapeutic, residential school; providing individual and group therapy to adolescents. I also served as a volunteer and home leader at the Samaritans Suicide Hotline. Upon graduating, I worked for Arbour Counseling Services; serving as a clinician in the adolescent Partial Hospitalization Program (PHP), an outpatient clinician providing individual and group therapy and created Arbour's School-Based Counseling program in the South Shore. My experience has allowed me to understand what supports children and teens need to thrive; at home, school and in the community. When I am not working, you will find me with my family; enjoying nature, engaging in community activities, cooking and reading.
