Jacqueline (she/her/ella) specializes working with adults, parents, and families. She has experience working with the LGBTQIA+ and BIPOC community, offering an affirming outlook in a safe and caring environment. She has clinical experience working with trauma, life transitions, mood disorders, and parenting. She incorporates the Nurturing Parenting Program and Triple P Parenting Teen program which focuses on working with the parents of adolescents to strengthen the parent-teen relationship and family system. Jackie focuses in providing therapy that is culturally relevant and compassionate. She uses play, art, and writing as a tool in therapy. She applies an intersectional lens to incorporate the various parts of an individual’s identity to create a treatment plan that is specific to each individual’s needs. She also recognizes that communities of color have had to adapt and develop strategies of survival to endure marginalization and historical trauma and uses this to highlight one's resiliency. Jackie also has experience with Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Cognitive Processing Therapy, strength-based, and other evidence-based models. She believes in working with you to identify your strengths and using them to help benefit your mental health well-being.
