I believe that fundamentally, we are meant to be heard, and through authentic human connection, vulnerability, and unraveling and working through the challenges that life throws at us, we can be. I am a Licensed Professional Counselor and have worked with adolescents and adults in a variety of settings including partial hospitalization and MICA, Children’s Mobile Response, addiction recovery services, school based counseling, outpatient programs, as well as in-home therapy. I have worked in areas such as depression, anxiety, grief, life transitions, self-esteem, and substance abuse. Specializing in working with individuals who have experienced trauma, I aim to integrate techniques from trauma-focused cognitive behavioral therapy, as well as the seeking safety curriculum. I believe in aligning myself with my clients and tailoring therapy to find what works for each individual. I utilize an eclectic and client-centered approach, drawing from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Dialectical Behavior Therapy, to connect with my clients and work towards their goals. I firmly believe that changing the way we think can ultimately alter our actions and behaviors. Together, we will work towards breaking free of old patterns, creating more balance in your life, and expanding your natural capacity to heal.
