Are you a young adult struggling to form meaningful connections with others? Does your anxiety affect your ability to handle various social situations? Maybe you are a parent struggling to handle the day-to-day stressors of raising children, while finding time to meet your own needs? Perhaps you are looking for support for your teen who is feeling overwhelmed and avoiding school? Each stage of life presents unique and complicated challenges. I specialize in supporting teens, young adults and parents through individual, group, and parent coaching at my office in St. Charles. Telehealth is also available, if preferred. I have a particular interest in working with neurodivergent individuals across life stages and transitions. Areas of speciality and expertise include anxiety, ADHD, Autism Spectrum Disorder, mood disorders, stress, parent coaching, and school issues. I am a licensed clinical social worker (LCSW), with 13 years of experience in public schools, private practice and home-based services. As a result of my years as a school social worker, in public schools, I have a comprehensive understanding of educational systems, and can assist parents in understanding and navigating school-based supports, 504 plans and IEPs. I value partnering with parents, schools and other service providers, to create a cohesive support system for the adolescent and the family. I provide a compassionate, non-judgmental, safe space, so you can build resilience through developing problem solving and coping skills. I want to empower you with the tools you need to overcome challenges and thrive. I would love to partner with you in your pursuit of personal growth. Contact me today for a free consult!
