Introduction

Hi there, I’m Jack—a relationship therapist and psychotherapist based in Baltimore, Maryland. My style is warm, supportive, and direct. I’m not here to sugarcoat things, and I know you're not here for fun—you’re here because you're ready for change and willing to do the work. I’ll be right there with you, helping you face challenges with compassion and clarity. As a relationship therapist, I help couples transform conflict into deeper connection and growth. I draw from Imago Therapy, Relational Life Therapy (RLT), and Ellyn Bader’s Developmental Model of couples therapy. I especially enjoy working with conflict-averse couples to build self-advocacy skills and move from avoidance to authentic communication. I also provide discernment counseling to support couples in navigating ambivalence about separation. In individual therapy, I specialize in anxiety, people-pleasing, gender dysphoria, and life transitions. My work is grounded in Narrative Therapy, Internal Family Systems (IFS), and somatic approaches. I also support clients navigating sexual concerns, including desire discrepancy in relationships, difficulties with genital response, and problematic sexual behaviors (including issues related to porn use). I offer an affirming space for those who buck traditional life scripts—whether you’re LGBTQ+, polyamorous, kinky, neurodiverse, or otherwise non-conventional. You won’t have to educate me on your identity or relationship structure. Instead, I’ll meet you with curiosity, respect, and a strengths-based lens.
