Jacinda is an associate licensed marriage and family therapist affiliated with CPR Counseling, LTD. She received a Master of Science in Marriage and Family Therapy from Northwestern University in 2021. She has trained at The Family Institute at Northwestern University, NorthShore Health System, and University of Chicago, among others. She serves couples, families, children/adolescents, and individuals. While she serves a wide range of clients, she is particularly committed to working with couples navigating multicultural issues, families/couples adjusting to illness, family-of-origin issues, and navigating intergenerational impacts of acculturation. She practices from an integrative framework and can implement behavioral, cognitive, or emotionally focused treatment depending on client needs. She values collaboration with clients to develop culturally responsive treatments and sees clients as the experts of their own life experiences. Her approach is informed by her identity as a “third-culture kid,” immigrant, and former educator in diverse contexts including China, Taiwan, the U.S., and Denmark. She is currently pursuing her PhD in clinical psychology with an emphasis on health and neuropsychology. She is a member of the American Association for Marriage and Family Therapy (AAMFT) and American Psychological Society (APA).
