Do you want to see real change? Let's be honest: healing takes work. I respect how trauma can impact the brain. As a Christian who is a licensed counselor, my practice focuses on helping multicultural individuals, men and women from various backgrounds, navigate personal trauma rooted in past or ongoing family issues. I help clients understand who they are, what options they have, and how to move forward in light of depression, anxiety, cultural differences, child parentification, perfectionism, etc. Clients who see me want to be heard just as much as they want to be challenged. I chose to become a therapist because I felt convicted to help people piece together themselves, their family dynamics, and find meaning in suffering. Speaking "Christian-ese" isn’t always helpful, yet I do see people as psychological, emotional, and spiritual. So, my clients learn to ask themselves honest questions rather than rushing finding easy answers! My M.O. is balancing empathy with honesty. I'm practical and realistic. People come to therapy feeling lost. Healing takes courage, open-mindedness, dedication, and momentum. Stabilization comes first, but true growth is the next step. Embrace the pain, commit to the process, and let's heal together. Are you ready to figure things out?
