Isaiah D. Banks: Mental Health Therapist, Mentor, and Author Life these days can make you feel as though you’re on a roller coaster that doesn’t stop. This can lead to having very intense emotions, ones that feel overwhelming, scary, and hopeless. Maybe you’re feeling extremely low? Feeling so stressed that it’s hard to focus, or you just don’t feel like doing much of anything. You might even feel like you’ve lost yourself. These intense feelings can affect your relationships, self-image, sleep, and even your work or school performance. For some, anxiety or sadness can lead to outbursts of anger or feelings of worthlessness. It’s important to learn about yourself, understand the root cause of these feelings, and find solutions. I am here to guide you along this journey. As a therapist, mentor, and author, I bring clinical experience working with young children, teenagers, and adults who suffer from anxiety, depression, trauma, and adjustment disorders. In our sessions, I use cognitive-behavioral therapy, multicultural therapy, and solution-focused brief therapy. I meet clients where they are and guide them to where they want to be. I remind clients of their strengths and encourage them to use them. We all have them; we just sometimes need help identifying what they are, and that’s okay. Let’s take this step together and figure out what yours are. Now accepting new clients: Young children (12+), Teens, and Adults.
