Hi there, I’m Isi (pronounced just like “Izzy”). I am an M.A. Candidate entering into my third year of the Somatic Counseling, Body Psychotherapy Master’s program at Naropa University in Boulder, CO. Somatic therapy integrates information from the body to inform how we understand our present moment experience. I believe that the wisdom of the body is one of our greatest allies in the healing process. I am committed to cultivating a supportive environment for clients to explore their unique experience and healing journey. My therapeutic approach is person-centered, somatic, mindfulness-based, and social justice-oriented. I am deeply inspired by body-centered modalities such as Somatic Experiencing and parts work. Working under the supervision of Leonard Torres, MA, LPC, LMFT.
