She holds degrees in psychology and mental health counseling and is trained in CBT, DBT and EMDR. Isabel has served as a school counselor at a K4-12th grade school since 2006. She loves interacting and helping children and teens navigate educational, social and emotional challenges. She is passionate about mental wellness education and teaching life skills that can help children and teens gain self understanding and compassion. Isabel has three amazing daughters who are graduates of Rollins College, Valencia, UCF, and UF School of Medicine. During her free time she loves the beach, traveling, exploring new places, reading and spending time with family and friends.
