If you are having trouble sleeping or emotionally managing life’s stressors or even your children’s challenging emotions and behaviors, I would like to help you and yours return to healthy functioning. I treat patients struggling with depression, anxiety (COVID and otherwise), inattention, impulsivity, pain, concussion, bereavement, relationships, obsessive-compulsive, and autism spectrum behaviors. My past PhD training through Palo Alto University was spent every day helping adults and children achieve better sleep and mental health, I am passionate about this work and would love to share my skills with you and yours. For sleep, I use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy for Insomnia (gold standard treatment for insomnia), Imagery Rehearsal Therapy (empirically proven for nightmare reduction), & Lucid Dreaming Therapy. For child ADHD, separation anxiety, & oppositional defiance, I use Parent-Child Interaction Therapy (boost your parenting skills & hook your kids on your praise). I use solution-focused therapy to build on all clients’ strengths with empathy & occasionally humor. I connect with youth/teens through their favorite media & pop culture to develop creative solutions for personal & interpersonal success. I can collaborate with schools, coaches, & doctors to find the best, integrated approach for you.
