I am a licensed psychotherapist and have worked with individuals, couples and families seeking counseling for over 9 years. I provide in office and telehealth (video) individual psychotherapy, couple therapy, pre-marital counseling, and career coaching. To that end, depression, anxiety, stress and trauma-related disorders, grief/loss, parental skills, relationship improvement, veteran and women’s issues are some of the problems I address in my practice. My treatment style is rooted in psychodynamic and client-centered approaches, with a main focus on building trust, an authentic rapport and addressing my client’s unique concerns. My primary specialty is treating conditions resulting from a wide range of traumatic experiences, including combat stress, sexual assault, developmental trauma, childhood abuse, domestic/family/community violence and grief. Unaddressed, trauma can cause chronic stress, anger, depression, anxiety, fatigue, addiction, low self-esteem and relationship issues. An experienced US Air Force clinician and veteran, I’m keenly attuned to the unique needs of military members, first responders and their families, and how issues related to combat stress, burnout, compassion fatigue, survivor guilt and family reintegration can affect their well-being. Life is an exciting journey. Yet at times its path brings us to a crossroad, or into uncharted territory that makes it hard to move forward or find new direction. Whether your challenges are recent or longstanding, whether you are seeking to improve your mood, relationships, or the ability to cope with difficult emotions, seeking help is a difficult yet courageous choice. I would be honored to walk with you on this healing journey, supporting you as you explore restorative paths toward hope and well-being. Hope to work with you soon!
