Introduction

I specialize in treating women who suffer from trauma or any stress-related issues. I enjoy helping women work around their circumstances by first educating them about their mental health issues and empowering them with tools to help them overcome their struggles and stress. Advocacy is a huge component of my counseling philosophy because I believe that clients who fulfill their mental, emotional, spiritual and other needs will overcome their struggles if they choose to work hard in and outside their counseling sessions and remain proactive. My goal as a certified clinical trauma professional Level 2 is to help my clients achieve post-traumatic growth, healing, and resilience, and become mindful and balanced human beings. My other goal is to create hope again. Just like a tree needs water, soil, and sunlight, hope needs goals, strategies, and motivation to thrive, and whenever we reach our goals in therapy we become more optimistic and confident to do more and more. It is like a positive feedback loop that helps us thrive in a positive direction. Trauma in itself is a huge loss, and loss in itself is an experience where you experience gains, and one gain is having hope in yourself. https://ce21.blob.core.windows.net/images/zy32naec0wujz5cl8d2g.png If you wish to make an appointement with me for counseling, you may request that through our website.
