My name is Imani Byers-Quarterman and I am a Public Health Clinical Social Worker and a Certified Yoga Instructor with advanced training in Perinatal Mental Health. I am also a trained full spectrum doula and peristeam hydrotherapist with a passion for assisting families on their journey to and through parenthood. As a Black woman, I understand the misconceptions surrounding pregnancy and postpartum. The truth is, everyone’s journey is unique and everyone’s individual experiences matter. My dedication to serving families navigating this space stems from my belief that with adequate support, normalcy can be restored and maintained! I specialize in helping individuals and families navigate depression, anxiety, trauma, mood disorders, grief and loss. I count it as an honor to walk with people on their journey to healing and overall wellness. No one should suffer in silence and I am in awe of you for seeking help during such a vulnerable time.
