Hello and welcome! I’m originally from New Mexico, where I quickly recognized the growing need for mental health providers. After living in Texas for over 8 years, I’m proud to call this beautiful state home and look forward to supporting the community here. I love this state, its people, and culture. I earned my undergraduate degree in psychology, with a minor in history, and continued my journey at Texas Tech University, where I completed my master’s in Couples, Marriage, and Family Therapy (CMFT). I am now pursuing my Ph.D. in the same field at Texas Tech. Having completed my doctoral course work, I’m currently working on my dissertation which is the final step before earning my Ph.D. In addition to my academic journey, I am also working towards becoming an approved supervisor in Couple, Marriage, and Family Therapy. I greatly enjoy mentoring and guiding future therapists, helping them grow in their own clinical practice, while also continuing to expand my own skills and expertise. Throughout my journey toward a Ph.D. in Couples, Marriage, and Family Therapy—the highest credential in the field—my passion for helping others has deepened even more. I’ve had the privilege of providing therapy at renowned institutions such as the Texas Tech University CMFT Clinic, the Children’s Behavioral Health Center (CBHC) at the University Medical Center (UMC) in Lubbock, and the Lubbock County Juvenile Justice Center. In addition to my practice, I also worked as an undergraduate instructor at Texas Tech University teaching several undergraduate courses as well as serving as a teaching assistant for several master’s level courses. Each of these experiences has enriched my practice, and I’m excited to bring this depth of knowledge and compassion into my work with you.
