Introduction

I’m a firm believer that the key to being the best version of ourselves requires self-reflection and vulnerability. My compassion and empathy for others allows me to create a safe and non-judgmental space for my clients in order to create a strong therapeutic relationship. As a therapist, I have experience with various populations and diagnoses such a dual diagnosis, anxiety, depression, adjustment, grief, emotional and behavioral issues. My experience has also been built from working in inpatient and outpatient settings, as well as the healthcare system. I’ve worked with a large variety of ages from children to adults but primarily work with adolescents and adults. I also have experience with utilizing AFFIRM, an evidence-based CBT group for LGBTQ+ youth and adults. I incorporate a person-centered approach during sessions, with the use of CBT, Solution Focused Brief Therapy, and art therapy techniques to assist my clients with processing their thoughts and emotions, in order to implement effective coping mechanisms. It’s important that clients are able to gain self-awareness in order to be more equipped to manage their daily life stressors. My goal as a therapist is to assist my clients with reaching their therapeutic goals, in order to become the best version of themselves and reach their full potential.
