Specialties: Anxiety, Depression, Trauma, Adjustment Disorder, Attachment Issues,

Introduction

I am a licensed, bilingual (Mandarin) psychologist who specializes in treating anxiety, mood disorders, relationship/life transition problems, and racial identity related issues among adolescents, college-aged youth (especially international students), young adults, couples, and Asian-American families. I have 15+ years of experience in providing multiculturally sensitive and evidence-based treatments. More specifically, my clinical specialties include: anxiety, depression, other mood disorders, family conflict, and relationship problems. I am also passionate about supporting individuals and families who are struggling with acculturation, racial/ethnic identity, career issues, as well as other life transitions. Additionally, I provide consultations to schools (K to 12) that have large populations of Mandarin-speaking international students. Specifically, I assist in orientations, conduct training for teacher/staff, and provide psychoeducational/support groups for international students. My approach is integrative and evidence-based, which generally encompasses cognitive behavioral, psychodynamic, family systems, and emotionally-focused theories.
